rent, or provide its customer list to any outside
organization. Please be assured that your
email and telephone number will not be distributed
outside of Sams Technical Publishing.
Returns:
Returns must have prior permission to be
returned. To
facilitate a return, please contact our Customer
Care Center at 1.800.428.SAMS, customercare1@samswebsite.com,
or customercare2@samswebsite.com.
One of our Customer Care specialists will
provide you with instructions regarding your
return. Sams Technical Publishing can only issue credit if the item was
purchased directly from Sams Technical Publishing. Items purchased from our distributors need to be returned to that
distributor.
Damaged
Items: Sams Technical Publishing will gladly replace any item
damaged during shipment.
Please contact our Customer Care Center and
we will promptly ship you a replacement.
Shipping:
Sams Technical Publishing uses UPS for
shipments unless another carrier is requested.
Our Customer Care Center can provide you
with tracking numbers if you need them.
Photocopies:
A number of items related to servicing
electronics devices are identified as
“Photocopy," indicating that they are
photocopies of original manufacturer’s data,
copied by Sams Technical Publishing with the
manufacturer’s permission.
THESE ITEMS ARE NOT RETURNABLE.
Older
PHOTOFACT® Sets:
A number of the older PHOTOFACT®
sets are printed “on-demand.”
These sets will be single-sided (instead of
two-sided as when they were originally printed).
These PHOTOFACT® sets are
printed on a state-of-the-art engineering plotter
that produces high-quality prints comparable to
those we receive from our printer.
Should you receive what appears to be a
copy of a PHOTOFACT®, it is actually
printed on-demand from a digital file in our
Digital Printing Center.
E:fact®:
E:fact® is an electronic
version of PHOTOFACT® and contains the
basics needed to repair the device at hand.
E:fact® does not contain
everything in a PHOTOFACT®.
A complete list of the items included can

E:fact® is delivered to you via
email as an attachment and IS NOT RETURNABLE.
You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view
E:fact®.
E-fact® cannot be emailed to
free, limited storage accounts such as Hotmail, as
they do not allow enough space for the attachment
to be received. E:fact®
is only available directly from Sams Technical
Publishing, as it is not currently designed for
resale through a distributor.
